As a proud community partner, Andijan Oil and Gas is dedicated to creating a culture that is transparent and active. We are happy to be able to help local residents enhance their well-being by offering them financial and social support. The company did not participate in or support any charitable or social endeavors in 2022. Conversely, Andijan Oil and Gas offers support as needed, such as lending specialized equipment to rural areas in the event of severe snowfall or infrastructure failures and arranging for transportation for rural kids to take part in field trips to local historical sites.
Andijan Oil and Gas has a strong social responsibility policy for its workers and their families, the local population in the areas where it works, and society at large. In order to improve living conditions for workers and their families, address housing issues, provide professional training for workers, support veterans and retirees, and promote regional social and economic development, the company undertakes a few large-scale social welfare and charitable projects.
Improving Working Standard
Andijan Oil and Gas is constantly committed to establishing safe and comfortable working environments in order to maximize worker productivity. The Company does this by creating new recreational spaces, maintaining social infrastructure, and funding initiatives that improve living conditions and safety. Continuing to build and upgrade its shift camps, which today house thousands of workers, is one of Andijan Oil and Gas’s major social policy initiatives.
In order to improve the living conditions of shift workers, the company has implemented the Target Program and the Social and Production Standards for Shift Workers. The Company’s shift camps are undergoing significant change as a result of extensive infrastructure development activities. Modern, much more comfortable residential compounds are replacing the outdated hostels, and new sports and recreation facilities are being built in addition to better healthcare and a wider range of public services.
Healthcare and Healthy Lifestyle
A large employer in Uzbekistan, Andijan Oil and Gas’s social policy places a high premium on protecting workers’ health and encouraging healthy lifestyles. Employees of the company receive yearly physical examinations, take part in pre-epidemic activities aimed at preventing infectious diseases, and benefit from sanatorium and spa treatments, rehabilitation, and health promotion initiatives. Every year, dozens of thousands of employees of company subsidiaries, their families, and retirees can access treatment and rehabilitation programs at federal, regional, and corporate health clinics. Numerous corporate rehabilitation centers in Andijon Viloyati employ special natural medicinal properties that have been effectively used to prevent and treat a wide range of occupational illnesses.
