Health Protection

Since employee health is one of Andijan Oil and Gas’s top concerns, the company developed the Andijan Oil and Gas program in 2022 to promote workplace wellness. The program’s objectives are to guarantee respectable working circumstances, encourage and support a healthy lifestyle, and foster the team’s professional and personal growth without endangering anyone’s health.

The main directions of the project:

  • organization of a health care system at the workplace;
  • disease prevention and medical care;
  • vaccinating employees;
  • maintaining a healthy lifestyle;
  • providing psychological support to employees.

In 2022, the program supported foreign assets, such as the delivery of COVID-19 vaccines to Vietnam or pharmaceuticals to Uzbekistan; it offered psychological support to employees and their families, involving professional psychologists; and it conducted in-person and online information sessions on the principles of a healthy lifestyle.

In the future, it is planned to develop the Andijan Oil and Gas project in the following areas:

  • first aid training of medical assistants in offices and at production facilities;
  • development of a unified concept of medical examination for the Andijan Oil and Gas;
  • continuation of the program of vaccination and psychological assistance;
  • continuance of informational initiatives, such as “120 and 80,” “Healthy weight,” “Increased physical activity,” and “Anti-smoking campaign.”

Fight against COVID-19 at Andijan Oil and Gas

In 2022, coronavirus was the most talked-about topic. The business has enough experience preventing the spread of this illness thus far. Plans were quickly developed to mitigate the negative effects of the coronavirus for various scenarios of the situation’s development, including normal operation, readiness to respond to a potential threat, proactive measures in the event of a sharp increase in diseases, and the state of emergency (ES), even at the earliest indications of the pandemic’s expansion in subsidiaries and the Corporate Center. To rehearse what to do when a sick person is recognized, command and staff exercises were conducted in the offices and fields.

Specialized psychologists are involved in a program of psychological assistance for employees who have contracted COVID-19. The Corporate Center and its subsidiaries have established companionship and support centers for employees and their family members who have contracted the virus. Andijan Oil and Gas is now prepared for anything. Today, 95% of the Group of Companies’ employees are immunized. Every employee has the right to select their own vaccine and is able to undergo an antibody test, vaccination, and revaccination at work.
